Follow the steps listed below on how to update RetroArch.
- Open any web browser.
- Search RetroArch in the search bar.
- Click on the website where you can see RetroArch- Liberto.
- Go to Downloads.
- Click on the version you want (i.e. Windows 32 bit or 64 bit version).
- Click on _RetroArch.7z and redist.7z and download them.
- Go to download folder on your computer, highlight them both and extract the downloaded files to RetroArch folder using WinRar or 7-zip.
- After that, navigate to LaunchBox -> Emulators -> RetroArch and click ok.
- Click ‘Yes’ on the pop up asking to overwrite the files.
RetroArch is now updated. Re-launch it, you will be able to see the updated version number in the bottom left corner in RetroArch.
Note: It does not overwrite your configurations, all it is doing is adding in the RetroArch.exe update as well as the retro degub exe and also some other .dll files that RetroArch needs to run.
