About Love Stage

One day, he bumps into Nowaki Kusama who sees him cry alone in the park. Sasaki No Miyano starts with Yoshikazu Miyano asking Sasaki, his upperclassman for help when his classmate is being bullied. Likewise, Sasaki too is stuck to Miyano, calling him lovely names, even after the junior says ‘no’ multiple times.

One day, as usual when Sasaki is annoying Miyano, the junior spills out the top secret of his life, that he is a ‘fudanshi’ – a BL manga lover. Curious about the title, Sasaki borrows a manga from Miyano, reads the book within just two days to Miyano’s surprise, and asks for another. 

Now finding a certain similarity between the two, they get closer than before, slowly giving birth to a new feeling between them, among which, Sasaki is the first one to admit his feelings.

Just like his band name, Shuichi is currently facing the bad luck phase because of ‘Deadlines’ which are just around the corner and he hasn’t completed the lyrics for even a single song. The lad needs inspiration, even a little bit would do and for the same reason, his best friend suggests having a girlfriend, totally unaware of the fact that he is destined to meet someone else. 

One night, walking in the park, Shuichi loses the grip on the lyrics page and it lands at the feet of an author named Eiri Yuki, who, sadly insults the younger saying he has ‘zero talent’. The comment strikes a new emotion in Shuichi and he completes the song, hoping to surprise Yuki with it but life had other things planned for him.

Given starts with Ritsuka Uenoyama visiting his usual sleep place at school but coincidentally, Mafuya Satou seems to acquire that area with the orange-haired holding a Gibson guitar. Just one comment about the guitar makes Mafuya practically beg Uenoyama to help him learn how to play the guitar and after constantly denying it, he has to give up in the end. 

Uenoyama takes him to his band including Haruka the bassist and Akihiko the drummer and Uenoyama himself as the guitarist. After a few times visiting the place, they all grow fond of the younger and soon he becomes one of them. 

Soon after, Uenoyama hears Mafuya singing, and surprisingly, his voice reaches the core, Uenoyama ask him to write lyrics and sing a song for them, to which other members of the band agree after listening to Mafuya singing. 

Mafuya debuts as the official member of their band, both as guitarist and singer. In one glimpse, everyone is touched by his beautiful voice and the deep meaning it has conveyed. Apart from all this, as they grow together, it doesn’t take time for Uenoyama to fall for Mafuya and vice versa.
