Claymore begins when a shapeshifting demon called ‘youma’, thirsty for human flesh steps in Raki’s Village. That is when a woman with silver eyes steps on the same land, with a sword upon her back. The woman is called Claymore and she’s a manufactured hybrid of half-human and half-youma, with only one purpose of life – to kill all the monsters.
Raki’s family is killed by the demon but he’s saved by Claymore. But, unfortunately, he is dismissed from his house and since he doesn’t have anywhere else to go, he decides to follow Claymore, called Clare, on all her journeys.
The pair travels across different towns, defeating all the monsters inside. In the process, Raki learns more about Clare’s organization and warriors. Now, with almost every town clean with demons erased, the pair come closer to the monster on which Clare has to take revenge, even after she became the Claymore.
